User Terms for Online ISRC Assignment Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to our ISRC Assignment Service. By using our service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Payment and Credits
- Registrants must make an online payment of £10 through our payment gateway to receive 30 credits in the system.
- Credits can be used to facilitate queries at the cost of one (1) credit per query, or to assign ISRCs at the cost of two (2) credits per query.
- Further payments can be made to top up credits as needed.
- All payments are non-refundable.
3. Data Submission
To facilitate a query or an assignment the Registrant must provide following data, accurately:
- Track title
- Version title (if applicable)
- Artist name
- Duration of the recording (in minutes and seconds)
- Year of first publication
- Type (sound recording or music video)
4. ISRC Assignment
- Only the right owner of the recording may assign ISRCs using this service.
- ISRC shall not be assigned to a recording that already has one.
- Submitted data will be checked in the International ISRC Database at https://isrcsearch.ifpi.org/. If an existing recording with the ISRC is found, that ISRC will be returned at the cost of two (2) credits.
Registration and Public Searchability
- ISRCs assigned through this service and the associated recording data will be registered in and made publicly searchable through the International ISRC Database.
6. Waiver
- IFPI / the Operator will use its commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the proper functioning of the service, it but does not guarantee its operation 24/7.
- IFPI / the Operator is not responsible for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, of any kind that may be caused by the Registrant’s use of the ISRC Assignment Services, or by the Service not being available for use or not operating properly.
7. Miscellaneous
- We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
- By continuing to use our service after any changes are posted, you accept and agree to the modified terms.
